This note reports an official statement from SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force) regarding Field Marshal Montgomery having reported to the Superme Allied Commander that all enemy forces in Holland, North West Germany and Denmark including Heligoland and Frisian Islands have surrendered to 21st Army Group from 0800 hours the following day (May 8th 1945).
