A sword shaped letter opener made from Duralumin from the wreckage of the LZ85/LZ55 zeppelin which crashed in Salonika on the 5th May 1916.
The knife measures 24cm and the handle is made from a WW1 rifle bullet. Details of the knife and the zeppelin are featured in the book Zeppelin L15 & The Wakefield Gold Medal by Bernard A.N. Green which is included in the lot. / AN7
