Eleven mixed commemorative envelopes relating to Colditz Oflag IVc, signed by various prisoners of war held at Colditz Castle during WW2 including Lieutenant Peter Allan (famous for "The Mattress" Escape), Captain Tommy Catlow, Captain Kenneth Lockwood MBE (One of the first British prisoners at Colditz) and also including Colditz society members Michael Booker, Dave Windle, Adrian Simmonds, Patrick Gale.

This lot also includes one photograph of each of the represented Allied Nations Colditz Senior Officers including Admiral Józef Unrug (Senior Polish Navy officer), General Le Bleu (Senior French Army officer), Major E. Engles (Senior Dutch Army officer) and additional members (written on back but ineligible).
