Two un-sent postcards written by an officer fighting on Corsica between 9th September to 4th October, 1943 during WW2.

The letters state that they had passed through this area and describes the impressive height of The Citadel of Corte'.

The postcards feature the three-arch 'Genoese Altiani Bridge' over the Tavignano, near Altiani and the other of 'The Citadel of Corte' was built in 1420 by Vincentello d'Istria, Corsican feudal lord who had conquered the city.
